This is not the begining of anything new. But is the final touches on what they have been doing the past 10 years or so. They want to have complete control of the installation force. They want every technician to be an employee or at least be controlled like an employee. They don't care what people call themselves, they simply want them controlled like an employee.
This problem wasn't nipped in the bud, and now they are wrap it up, and soon everyone will be employees or either controlled like one. There are no true contractors in this business anymore. Hasn't been for quite some time.
