What a load of crap. Even from the start, if you do the actual math a billion seconds ago is 1979 where you have 1959. You political cheerleaders (both sides) need to go back to school and learn some history instead of blindly passing around this propaganda and thinking you're fucking geniouses because of it. Of course there was no Social Security tax 100 years ago (duh) but have you ever heard of the Whiskey Rebellion? It was due to a LIQUOR TAX (you know, like the one you claim didn't exist) instituted during GEORGE WASHINGTON'S Presidency. There have always been and always will be a need for taxes. To the Republican cheerleaders especially, you have no room to talk about taxes. The guy you voted in last left office with a $1.3 trillion (that's a THOUSAND times a billion) deficit and projected shortfalls of $8 trillion for the next decade (8 years after taking office with a SURPLUS) ensuring higher taxes to all of us for a generation.
