No, it's not. We have alot of good people in this industry working today. Some have made mistakes in the past. As a matter of fact I know a guy who has been an installer for almost 20 years. He knows all the in's and out's of the buisness. He is a customer service expert at someones house and a super install tech. He makes good money, he shows for work everyday and hes never late to time frames and does everything he says hes going to do. He will not be able to feed his family for very long if hes fired. Charter is well known for always making the contractors life an up hill (losing) battle. They just made a striking blow to all contractors with a 30% pay cut on the most billed line items for techs. They have pretty much handed the entire administration and dispatch details to the tech. Now a tech has to do 30 minutes worth of paper work to install a box and don't even think about getting paid for a drop. We have to run 300 foot 3 bump pole drops here on almost every job for nothing!!! Anyway, my point is. People change. 7 years is far enough to know if someone really is a fuck-up or a really good guy making the best of a second chance.
