You dont see it reducing the deficit, because you do not account for the fact what we already spend on healthcare in our current system, and how much our current system will cost 10 years from now. The Dems are attempting to replace a borken system with a new system that costs less than our current one.
Research how much we spend NOW on healthcare and, and you will see better understand why reform is needed. You still may not agree. But yo will at least have more facts. Also research how much CBO says our current system will cost us 10 yrs from now.
