But here is your chart. Notice the Dow doing great right up to July 2008 JUST before Bush is getting ready to be done. And right about the time that people realize that a democrat (and not just any dem, an inexperienced one with criminal ties) is going to win the White House. It goes down. Down. Waay down. All time high under Bush. All time.
