Yep, you said it, uglyoldlinemen. You did not dare whine, and if you did, it better be to the wife, when you got home. Even if you burned a pole, and had a chest full of splinters, you had better be on your way to your next pole, Being the boss's son, I got schooled twice as hard by the "Old Schoolers", no slack at all, nope, none. You better be prepared to do 50, 60 poles a day or more and off hooks. But, that was all new build back in them days. Ahhh yehhh, the days before overlash, I doooo remember................
