RE: What happened to ethical companies

I can walk in your shoes I had contract with Halsted Communication, there practicies are very unethical I decideded to come up with phone log sheets due to the horrific back charges in NY city, What we did was create a form for the customer to sign if the had or did not have phone service. If the customer had no phone service they would sign the form and check they understand the importance of the phone line and they refuse the connection. Now we argued that you can't hold us accountable for this if a customer does not want the phoneline connected, we should be charge only one we can do but there would have been no charge because that put us way above the metrics, I then expressed my concerns and how dishonest this practice was they became irrate. They told me thats just how it is . The next day I gathered my techs up and we took all of our equipment back and departed ways. We were back charged $16,437.00 for the month of November. There were things like OTG's which I had no problem with if we got them honesly, but you can give techs 3 AM jobs and expect them to make all by 12 impossible
