Listen Tomasat alot of guys are turning to the IRS to nail these guys down. If you file a ss8 that will initiate a investigation into the company as to weather you are a 1099 contractor or employee. Then they will have to come clean with you. I would contact these people and tell them you are filling a SS8 because they are treating you like an employee.
