What does any of this has to do with phone lines? Seems like everyone takes things out of focus and starts new rants etc.
It doesn't matter what's on the work order describing what, if they are told that they will get free this or free that, you can either do 1 of 2 things.
1. you can say it's not a free service (wall fish, polemount, etc). which then they will either cancel or call and bitch about it.
or
2. you can just do the job, get paid normally even though it took you an extra 10 min to do the extra work, swallow your pride etc.
As for QC's, they do qc random jobs, and no matter if you tell the cust to avoid them like the plague, they will still come and take pics of the outside.
