That is a line of crap crap crap! The health system in the country is horrible, shameful, embarrassing and deadly! I have experienced many sides of this sytem- uninsured, underinsured and fully insured.
When I was 20 I had a failing kidney that was killing me. I had "insurance" through my college. They denied proper treatment. 8 months, 3 stents, bottles of painkillers later I got really, really sick. Denied. I went to a 2nd world european socialist country in which I had medical rights due my dual citizenship. Within 3 days, the organ was removed and it cost me $8.
When I was on Workers Comp and fully insured these shitbag doctors had me lined up for treatments nearly every day.
Rationing care? Its crap. A line of horseshit by a few ultra rich men with a lot of airtime. There will be triage, as there should. And people will die waiting for treatment. But it will be far less than those who die trying to avoid the emergency room, scared of losing their home for healthcare.
This 'greatest system in the world' is based on denying treatment outright. How's that for rationing?
