I wholeheartedly agree. Insurance companies need to be able to cross state lines. More competition means less prices. They need to reign in medical costs and one way to do that is stop the frivilous lawsuits driving the malpractice insurance up. Cost of medical supplies need to be controlled a little better. There are many ways to change a pretty good system we have.
They are saying that people can't afford insurance. Who is to say that the same 15 percent will be able to afford government insurance? How many of that 15 percent just don't want to pay for it? And what makes you think you would be covered under the government plan? They will ration care.
You will have a much harder time getting treatment unless you are dying and then who knows? You have seen some of the videos of people trying to get care in Canada. Canadians come here all the time for care because of the hassles of getting care there.
