try to hook up with someone thats been around a while, has good work ethics, doesn't take short cuts. If you can,tell him you'll work for free while he trains you and pick up from there. Everybody wants to start at the top( which I can't blame them) but you'll short change your self in Knowledge of all aspects of the cable world, I'm not saying spends years installing but do it move on to Construction then splicing then service etc. If not you can look real foolish when it comes to going on your own .
