Re: QC chargebacks

I started installing cable in 1979, then gradually moved into service work, maintenance, then headend work. after 26 years in the business i took a QC position that i currently hold. I could and still can run a route with the best young tech's in our system and i'm 5o years old. Newbies and younger generation do not have the work ethic that older guys have, there are exceptions but not many. I look at QC work as making sure the customer and the company are getting what they pay for. I don't nitpick jobs, i don't have to, I am given PLENTY of reasons to fail jobs just based on the new generation of laziness that has been bred over the last 15 years or so. Do your job, do it right and there is no problem, period! Don't ground the job,you fail, don't use weatherproof fittings outside, you fail, use 3 clips on a 40' run on an A/O you fail. The company has rules and you are told what they are, if you don't follow them you fail. No differant than anything else in life.
