We have an Altec AA600 that we keep on the farm and cannot get the upper controls to work. The unit is a retired power unit, so it is fully insulated and has a pistol grip type control. The lower controls work fine but the uppers will not do anything. I am thinking it could be in the valve that is used to switch between the upper and lower controls, but without a plumbing diagram I am uncertain how to troubleshoot it. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
