I now offer TV and Internet in my system but I am loosing subs to the bundled dish/internet service. The main reason is that I can not compete with the dish line-up but my Internet is as fast or faster then any other in the area.
What are my options in possible partnering with a dish service to bundle my cable Internet with their dish service?
I know on someone that is bringing in the dish service to their head end and then putting it out on their cable system, but I would likely have to make major upgrades to increase to 1Ghz and to supply digital so my thoughts are to handle this just as the Telcos are. They provide the data on their phone lines and dish handles the TV side of things.
Does anyone have any info or experience in making this happen?
