Might you allow me to disagree with what has been posted thus far:
In the book of Matthew, chapter 6, Ver. 1-8 (those leading upto the Lord's Prayer) have been taught to me, and how I understand is as such: There is only one proper way to pray and that is the Lord's Prayer. Any other prayer is hypocracy and only for show.
How does your church interperet Matthew 6:1-9 ??
