I hope you got your money by now. but did you signed a contractand you?
if you did read it and see what the contract say.
working for a company that ask for a retainage is not a good company,
I'm a prime for comcast and they don't ask for retainage.
that's why the company that you are working for suppouse to have a QC Department
to inspect the work you have done.and if yor work is not good,
they shouldn't be giving you more work.
is that easy,and if they ask for retainage it shouldn't be more than $2000.00
that's more trhan enought.
I Hate companies with retainage that's not a company those are CABLE PIRATES.
stay away from those.
