Is it illlegal or unethical? Unless you have lived under a rock for the last 100 years, this is how most ALL business is done in most industries in the world.. Just hanging out in the gray area of statutes and codes. Caught up in corruption and kickbacks... Seems thats how the gov't has been run so why should the private sector be any different? I may be new to cable but I am not new to life. I have been in several industries where there was lots of palm greasing and back scraching goin on for contracts, service/maint. agreements, prime pick of the contracts..you name it. This is the SOLE reason I left my corporate accounting job 7 yrs ago. Hard to feel good about yourself in the midst of multiple ethical dilemnas... all the while the fear of getting fired or accused of something or left holding the bag..
