I know in Indiana, they made us all switch to hourly. They do it with either:
1. Offering you a hourly wage, pay for your gas, give you tools and a phone, take out taxes and screw you as an "employee"
2. pay you at a piece rate, have you log your hours you work and then turn that piece rate into an hourly rate by average then still take out taxes. Yeah you make a little more hourly...but they still take out more and offer no benefits.
