Re: Has anyone switched to sales?

Sales are hard, lots of rejection, foot work and time dealing with customer service. If the pay is good than it is worth it. If the promotions are right and you have open territory, and the pay scale is right then you can make good money. When the cable companies create a lot of restrictions on who can subscribe, credit checks, weak promotions than your sales suffer. But if the promotions are good, and you can sign anyone up then you can make a lot of money. Lower income areas have a high turnover rate and you can sign people up quickly, deepening on the promotions and credit checks, but higher income areas yield triple plays, which pay more, but are MUCH harder to sell in. In a good week with a good company your earning maybe 1000 or less. But with a company you can earn several thousand, I've seen guy's make over 4000 a week in sales.
