The whole medicare issue is the biggest hang up on this issue. If there is 600 billion over ten years in waste, why is that not being fixed now. Do that for a year and show concrete proof that you are, the opposition will decrease a ton.

But with that said, the gov't has shown no ability to run a large program efficently, on schedule and most importantly on or under budget. And until they can prove they can do that, I am unwilling to allow a new trillion dollar program.
