Well I think it would work because it brings it (the insurance companies) into the market and would stop the monopoly. Look at Blue Shield. They are raking it in because there is no competition because of politicians that have let insurance lobbyists talk (pay) them into making laws that make them money. These are our government officials at work. Then they say insurance is too big and they helped do it and use it as a reason to get nationalized care. They did it. Not just the insurance companies.
And the government doesn't run Medicare well. It is not doing the job it is suppose to do because the government is involved. How many doctors don't want medicare patients?

Just 2 links and there are more. I think we both agree something needs to be done but I can't see a nationalized service as the answer especially when the gov is so inept at medicare.
