Now she wants to liken the opposition to health care to the opposition to gay rights? Is this woman insane? These 2 have nothing to do with each other. San Francisco is not the model city for the US anyway. Trying to say this is about hate? What is wrong with her? Anyone? Anyone?
If these people keep pushing hate and racism as a reason for opposing their views then they are doing what they want and that is keeping us divided. I'm not going to let them win that war within myself.
We have differences and lately have been getting good debate and different opinions without a bunch of name calling or hate. Why does anyone think these people, our leaders, are trying to make this a 2 sided thing? When in reality, it is just some minor differences in what we want the bill to do. One is not raise taxes. That's a big one.
2 is not make it a social program to continue on with social security, which is going down the toilet because these people can't leave the money put in there alone except for the use of social security. And is a socialist program anyway.
I think the main battle with health care is the fact that it really gets both feet in the door to socialism and that has people on edge. Well rightfully so as socialism hasn't worked anywhere.
