Well if you have 40 amps and it looks this good you are doing well. But I agree with the other posts on the noise. Most noise (75 to 80 percent) is from the drop plant. And there are so many do it yourself cable homeowners. Are you in a rural system with not many subs? Because 40 amps won't let you get to many subscribers on at one time.
