I know what you are saying but Obama brought up the stories about white cops and blacks and latinos.....that was a racist statement. Wilson didn't say anything remotely racist. But I feel what you are saying.

So perhaps that is what the argument was with people here. Obama did make racist statements and you defended him to a point. It did get out of hand I felt. People will say what they will.

Most of the time it is a mis-communication and it is easy to do here because we are writing based on one or two statements in a whole post or reply. And people may not understand what someone was trying to say. We are not good writers so we can't always put down into words what we are feeling as a writer can. I just think things get blown out of proportion here much of the time. I know I miss what some are trying to say and we can't see that smile or tongue in cheek someone may have here.
