I have taken many NCTI courses. 15 to be exact. The biggest problem I see is that they try to cover too much stuff at once and go way too general on it. For example test equipment. Also if  I could do it over I would go straight to SCTE or BISCII. Not badmouthing NCTI there is some good stuff in the courses but I think there is much better out there. I have had the pleasure of working with folks that have been doing this 20 years... a drop in the bucket compared to how long I have been at this and their knowledge alone has shadowed what all those courses had in them.
