Dish installers use diplexers to send a tv output signal from a sat receiver going to the outside of the house where they can feed it to the line going to the 2nd tv location from a dual tuner receiver at the same time they can bring a satellite feed in to the receiver. Look at the pic and replace the off air antenna with a tv and the receiver antenna input willl be an output for tv2 from a dual tuner dish receiver. In this case the sat feed will going in to the house and the tv2 output of the dish dual tuner will be going out of the house. this can happen because a sat feed will be from 1450 to 2150 mghz and tv cable or antenna is from 5-900 mghz.
