I don't believe any of us can go into another man's mind and decide what his motivation was. To say race played a role in this is pure speculation and personal opinion. There is no fact or truth to back it up. I believe he has looked at what the president says and the bill and knows things about it we don't. Should he have said it? NO. But he didn't do it for race. Will your statement be true about blacks in SC. Maybe, but that would be a racist act in itself wouldn't it?
