This Is The Problem

The insanity of this business stems from this attitude. You'll get paid when I get paid. WRONG-WRONG-WRONG.
The techs who do a job - as a sub or employee - are doing the work for the contractor. The business dealings of the system and the contractor is not the problem of the tech. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
The contractor is to pay workers to complete work. He then sells that work to a system for a profit. If a contractor does not have the capital to pay for work to be done no worker should do a minute of work for him. 
WAKE UP OUT THERE!!!!! This is the reason I left the business. I'm not going to subsidize some under-capitalized jerk. If they have a problem with the system (cable or dish) then it, again, is their problem. It's called BUSINESS!!!!

Sorry for the shouting but please, If you're a young guy get your ass to Devry or ITT Tech and get educated in computer repair or something. Leave these install clowns hanging in the wind.
