Joe i feel what your saying, But there are two sides to each story and some Bullshit in between. I have seen a lot of shit work out there with Direct TV and dish here in Columbia SC most Apartment complexes will not allow Direct TV installs or Dish because of wires hanging out of windows Dishes mounted on trees, people telling them the Boxes will be up in a Hour, Mounting and drilling holes in peoples roofs most no customer education, Yes there are mistakes out there and we all have to pay for them some how or another. See with me i tell my techs i can help you fix a mistake i can't fix stupid and as far as i know they don't have a cure for stupid. i have supervised guy's in the cable industry for many years and i have fought for techs to the point where i have almost lost my job and one job i quit because of the way the techs was treated and i was not going to be part of it, But let's get this out there some of these techs will make you look like a asshole instead of saying "Man i messed up" or fixing the job in the time frame offered to them they just go on about the day as if it is nothing. See i was considering doing direct and i went to the Mastec shop and asked the Techs to survey for myself weather i wanted to do direct TV installs, i decided i was going to do it but i never got in for another reason (No fault of mine). But things are what you make it, these guy's that are subs are running there own company and they don't take the steps to run it properly that is not no ones fault but there's not mastec not direct TV. Plus there are courts and so on why is no one taking them to court ? Is it that there will be other things that will come out that will prove other wise or will they say Mastec and direct TV has to many Lawyers ? Some guy's come here with outrageous amounts saying they are owed $10.000 or more, Working by themselves right, i would have stopped at $1000.00. If they are being over loaded give the work back and stand firm on that, But they don't and then they complain, Run your company the same way they do and look out for you.
