I thought about trans change myself.  But that is to costly.  I findly got off my ass and went to Kawasaki and told them what my plans were.  They suggested go up one tooth on the front sprocket.  That should lower my RPMs down enough on the highway and I can easly change it back when I am ready.  This is just a highway fix for long haul.  Just around town, it can remain factory.
