I understand what you are saying, but there is something to his hypocricy. Mr Kennedy and his party whole heartedly attacked Bush for his service record. And look at his. Mr Kennedy preached to all of us about morals and doing the right thing, but in his own personal life in which he was in complete control, he was surly lacking to say the least. And his last political act was to write a letter to repeal a law that called for a special election to fill his seat. A law that he whole heartedly supported when enacted to provent a republican from appointing a replacement to John Kerry if he won the 2004 election. Now with a dem in office, it is a bad law.
And his families whole public existence is off of the back of a criminal enterprise.
The man is dead and may God rest his soul, but lets temper the 100 foot statue sentiment.
