You must be a rookie if you believe that a pole mount is not stable. 3-feet deep, 120 pounds of cement, and never use fence pipe. Hughes Net also come with extendable support arms, but you have to be center on stud for it to be stable. I've seen alot of Dtv and DishNet mounted straight on the decking, and the whole dish moves when you push against it, is that what you call stable, support arms or not.
