I am new here for posting and do not know how to turn on the mail thing. I started posting because I would like to be a part of some solutions and not just complaining. In reading some posts only certain portions are mentioned which skews the debate. So I am adding my two cents.
Most is geared toward Satellites as it is in the most turbulent state. But cable is catching up and in a year will be in the same spot with the same problems.
Now Salesdawg....Hey man I like your style. I completely agree. We sell and cherry pick the work. Nothing better. Unless the players change the game. Keep your commission for the sale. Give your install to another tech. All this is going on. I sold my parents house next door and they send another tech to install it. I got an "oh we are sorry". As you said they keep changing the game.
Diversify, sure. Get out all together sure. Change the system....not sure.
