I'm gettin' old; The whole situation seems to be changin' for the worse. These owners and managers lie to you like you are their ole' lady or something worse; I recently drove over 900 miles one way for a job and it turned out to be one big mistake and bullcrap. Should have listened to advice from someone that knew the owner. Invested my time and money, and blew off 4 other offers of work for this crazy bastard. Just gettin' old. But, I tried to get out of the trade for a little while last year; Couldn't stand doin' what I was doin' and "They just pulled me back in." Doin' some piddlin' maintenance right now. Barely pays the bills. Pays just enough to keep me workin'. Doesn't make sense, work just so you can afford to work.
