I do not have a problem with technology but I do have a problem with the implementation and how it is applied.  It is a known fact the government does filter all phone traffic on all traditional networks.  In a real free market if you want gps in your phone it would be an available option if consumers wanted it.  On the same token if you did not want it that would also be an available option if consumers did not want it.  It's the government mandated privacy invasion and lack of a choice that bugs me.
