You don't seem to know much about Detroit now do ya? Lots of alleyways with scores of abandoned homes back then. Seem the kids were playing in one of these areas without supervision and were pounced upon by the pack. They all ran but they got the weakest/slowest of the bunch. Don't know if the parents had no guns but I'm darned sure some had no parents.....very sad! Funny thing is that there wasn't much crime, at least not against us who just went there to work.
