They were black guys...I remember that story..he told them to stop and they didn't so he shot them. It is legal to shoot someone in texas if they are trespassing or if you feel you are in danger. Thing was that he was told to stay in his house by 911. I heard the tape. I am not sure robbing someone is grounds for getting killed. If there are no weapons involved and your life isn't in danger. I was in Alabama staying with my racist cousin, we got into a big fight because a black man was shot running out of a store with jewelry. My cousin said he deserved it. I said "he deserved to die for stealing?" Of course he used a couple of racist names and I took acception to it and a big fight ensued. No one deserves to die for stealing and running away. If he had come at the store owner with a weapon then I understand killing for self defense but he was running away. No reason to shoot him there.
