But even the statement of you can keep your doctor is also a half truth. The gov't is talking about lowering the rates to the doctors as a way to pay for this. Many doctors already shy away from medicare/medicaid because the payments are so low. What happens when you cut the rates even further. And can anyone seriously believe that if an employer can dump an insurance policy, even though it will cost them the 8% penalty average worker is making 40000 a yr. Why are employers not going to dump 1000 per month insurance to pay 3200 a year. This plan sounds like swiss cheese to me, full of holes.
