an OOP can be generated pretty easily by the customer. All they have to do is email Directv from their website and there is a check box that states this email will go directly to the President of DirecTv. When i ran a chicago market, we got them all the time over bs stuff. Several on legit custom charges. Customers feel like if the email goes directly to the president, they will get their money back immediatly. I had some on the race of the tech and several other bs stuff.
If they are going to charge you 1000 to 5000 for a oop you need to find something different to do. DirecTV doesn't charge them that so why should they charge you. Its just their way of getting free labor.
