You keep forgetting that Bush didn't spend anything without congress. Same with Obama. But the dems fought Bush on anything he wanted to do that was positive. It had nothing to do with the 'caring' of the dem party. They don't care about you or me anymore than the repubs. They just wanted Bush to look bad so they did everything they could to make that happen.
And we do know that Obama is worsening the situation so why would you support what he is doing, on a larger scale, when it is the same thing Bush did? If the situation is the same or worse, what difference does it make who is doing it?
No body helped the oil industry at least not Bush. Supply and demand did that. China is buying more oil than ever so there is more demand. Demand caused that price to go up. And as soon as Americans changed their habits and less oil was needed the price went down........before Obama was elected.
