Anyone ever get tired of paying the high price that Ditchwitch,Vermeer,Telsta or any other Manufactor company charge's for replacement parts. I broke my trencher arm recently and called up to order a new one, I was quoted a price of $ 2000.00. Told them they were crazy, so I in turn got back at them and bought a Lathe machine and drill/punch press and purchased the material which was only $75.00 and built it myself and still came under the $2000.00 price tag they wanted. Called around to find a hydrolic trailer cheapest I found was $4500. I just finished building one and the mateial cost me about $800. Why are all these items so overpriced?
