If ya run a good ship than understanding how to run it right puts you ahead.
Say you run an MDU crew doing post wire .....its a given that there will be incidents/ damages. To explain for those who may jump the gun without thinking first.....in this type of project you will ALWAYS run into damages due to electricians, plumbers and the like changing/ re routing the lines (they aren't always in the same spot).
$$$ wise this is called a buffer (in commonly understood terms).
Money is set aside to cover this and can be given to the crew as a bonus...witch should also be set aside no matter what and given out no matter what. (this explanation covers both w-2 and 1099's).
When damages happen a 2nd buffer is already required= insurance which may cover additional items as well.
In my view anything other than this is pretty much a passing of the buck of the irresponsible ones out there.
This topic could very well go on and on...yet I digress.
Call me what you want....good guy/ bad guy I don't care.
Is it that true bossiness ethics and methodology is already extinct??? doesn't matter any way.
