you do have the right to go after the company for insurance claim as long as you made the claim soon after it happened.  Make sure you have all your bills, the address it happened at and the person you spoke too name(supervisor, managment).

I had a similar problem when I sliced my thumb on a job from a house encloser.  I turned it in after I notice I kept bleeding.  My supervisor went to the hospital with me and gave all the information to the hospital.  It still took over a year plus with a law suite the get the med bills paid.  I guess JetBroadBand  got the point I ment bussines this time after all the BS they put me through.  Thats why I noticed all new management there.
