I was speaking of the people that attacked G when he didn't attack anyone in this thread. I was trying to show that we don't have to be mean. I didn't see where you were actually being mean and you did ask for facts and I wasn't singling you out. Sorry if you thought so.
As far as your 12 items I will post some but I don't know what you consider essential. It would be the point of view of whomever needed it.
Gasoline, pharmaceuticals, clothing, steel, cars, trains, planes, paper, computers, lumber, tools, tires, batteries, lights, money, motor oil and I am sure if I sat for a while and thought about it I could come up with more. I don't see anything on this list that isn't essential for our way of life. But so many other things are outsourced anymore.
