Maybe someday the MSOs will realize they can manage contractors themselves. It would take very little in house staff, they already communicate with the techs in the field throughout the day more than the companies we all contract for. Everything is automated now, we log in ETAs on our phones, we add comments, sometimes equipment and then close the job as complete. Who would listen to some new ideas?
