Re: CarpleTunnel from cutting Fittings ???

I had Carple Tunnel syndrome.  I experienced numbness in the fingers and wrist that led up a nerve to my elbow.  The employer I worked for paid for everything.  I was on light duty for a while. Went to a hand speciallist for steroid shots and medical evaluation.  When it did not get any better  I was given a option for surgery or vocational rehablitation.  DONT LET THEM OPERATE ON YOU!!!!!  I have met about 2 dozen people in the doctors office who still had problems after surgery.  Vocational Rehabilitation has led to 2 AA degrees that they paid for.  They paid for school, milage, 3 rehab coucelors to help get through that process and a monthly pay check based on my income.

I have been working in cable for three years.  My thumb pops and clicks now from putting on connections.  I have hear accounts of some guys looing the function of their thumbs.  What ever fitting you use. disassemble it, prep your fitting and use you compression tool to hold the connector while you push it on.
