all KAKU high definition is supposed to be wired with Solid Copper. This is DirecTV's choice. The reason is the KA frequencies are lower so they are closer to the center of the cable. So if is copper clad those frequencies are ridding on the steel which has a different resistance than copper. half of your frequencies are on the copper and half are on the steel. Sounds like a way for something to get screwed up. But thats why they hire those high priced engineers
