The esteemed congressman who introduced this bill does so everytime a dem is in the White House. It will never pass, but you are right to bring it up. It is another show of the arrogance shown by the people in congress. Those who introduce this and those who do nothing to put it down. This will never come to a floor vote where people must put their name yea or nea to it. It is just a political stunt to bring attention to a few congress men who have nothing better to do.
But the other side of the coin is just peoposing this bill cost us money. Printing enough copies to be given to EVERY member of congress for starters. Wonder if this would have been done if the congressman had to pay for the costs of this folly out of his own pocket. Care to wager on that one?
But if I lived in Rep. Jose Serrano's district I would have a simple question for him. Why you are wasting time with this unpassable garbage, who is representing the district? I would like to hear that answer.
