I agree with you mcsub. 24000 ft by 2:30 sounds like bullshit to me. I also started off building strand and cable 25yrs ago but I did climb a pole in Tom Ball Tx about 15 yrs ago that was easily 100ft. right at a rail crossing just to hook up a drop for an installer. I still would like to know if the guy who designed this system was ever told that he put a tap 100ft in the air.
